Secondary School Entrepreneurship Development Program
SSEP A set of entrepreneurial activities aim at capturing the younger generation for a creative entrepreneurial journey and wealth creation. Designed for secondary school students, HODCI works with secondary schools to impacts students with Vocational and entrepreneurship training. With a well-designed curriculum, mentorship and resources, SSEP motivate teens in secondary schools to start a real venture that solves a need in an innovative way throughout their school year. We carry out vocational and entrepreneurship trainings, Business Modeling, Entrepreneurship Symposium in secondary schools, established school-based ventures in secondary schools.
Career And Social Counseling Program
We regularly sent our professional career counselor to schools to engage the students in career talks and one-on-one counseling. The purpose is to expose the children to current needs of various professionals globally. Also conduction of sensitization of students on current technological shift and development such as high tech in the area of artificial intelligence and robotics which are currently engaged in health care delivery system, language translation, security networks and military combat fields. We expose students to current development in technology and governance as well as societal and economic challenges that demands solution so that students can make the right career choice and plan for the future academic advancement. Accordingly, counseling the students on the ills of current on-line social networking and social interactions with the aim of helping them to develop necessary precautions to safeguard their personal survival. Environment
Environment is crucial to our existence. Sensitizing young people early enough on the current causes and effect of global climate change is one of our core programs. HODCI goes beyond sensitization of our teens on preservation of our environment to taking active participation in restoring our ecological system through tree planting and sanitation.
Youth Industrial Cluster Development and Management
Organising youths with a common business vision and similar business line for cross pollination of ideas, produce a common product and explore market potentials for their products using common facilities and sharing materials and human resources with the objective of reduction of cost of production. We support youth industrial cluster with facilitating access to Common Facility Centres (CFCs), access to Formal Finance, Marketing support, Improving HR skills and Awareness on International Certification & Regulations.
Young Entrepreneurs Club
Established in schools to sensitize students on the importance enterprise in the economy and inculcate wealth creation culture among students at early stage in life and help students build a company of their own throughout their school year. YEC provide a platform for students to come together and discuss business and economic matters. YEC embarks on development of creative ideas and transformation of cutting-edge ideas into projects and products that are of economic value and promotion of such through national and international trade fairs. Adolescent And Women Reproductive Health
Women and Adolescent have unique health issues which require special attention Issues such as pregnancy, HIV, cervical cancer, STD, mental disorder, etc. planned. To safeguard our younger generation (especially those in disadvantage and poor communities) against killer diseases, we erect sensitization/information points of contacts, online and one-on-one counseling units to provide necessary information to youth and women. We conduct HIV counseling and testing as well as engaging people living with AIDS in vocational and entrepreneurial training to generate income for sustenance of their lives. Child's Right
We bring to the fore the knowledge of child’s right of the United Nation for implementation at the family level. We engage in advocacy of policies that are child and youth friendly, to safeguard the right and existence of children.
